The Openlayer MCP server
In November last year, Anthropic released MCP (Model Context Protocol), an open-source standard for how applications provide context and tools to LLMs.
In just a few months, MCP has gone from powering Claude Desktop to being adopted by major players — OpenAI and Google have both announced added support in their latest models.
Today, we're excited to introduce the Openlayer MCP server.
What is the Openlayer MCP server
You can think of the Openlayer MCP server as an “LLM layer” on top of your Openlayer workspace.
If you’re using an IDE or desktop app with MCP support (like Cursor, VSCode, Claude Desktop, and others), you can now directly interact with your Openlayer workspace without leaving your editor.
No context copy-pasting. No switching tabs. Just natural interaction with your AI testing workflows.
How can you use the Openlayer MCP today

With the Openlayer MCP server, you can also:
